Despite politely trying to turn them down, some boys are hellbent on turning a [simple texting conversation](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/whattotext-ai) into a hot-and-heavy sexting session. If you're fed up with [unsolicited d*ck pics](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-durex-blocker) and incessant questioning on the status of your virginity, then you'll enjoy browsing -- and perhaps contributing -- to the submissions on 'Straight White Boys Texting.' From the typical "What are you wearing?" to the more brazen "Wanna see my d*ck?," the Tumblr features some pretty hilarious entries featuring comments from clueless, yet persistent, boys. In the wake of the UCSB shooting and the corresponding #YesAllWomen hashtag, this blog serves as a comedic way to highlight issues concerning our obsession with virginity and our disregard for consent. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.2/10 - Popularity: 50% | Activity: 7% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 10% men, 90% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Naughty](https://www.trendhunter.com/naughty) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Unsolicited Sexting:** There is an opportunity for a disruptive innovation that focuses on preventing and addressing the issue of unsolicited sexting, creating safer digital spaces. - **Consent and Respect:** An innovative solution that promotes consent and respect in digital communication could revolutionize the way we interact and address online harassment. - **Comedic Social Commentary:** An opportunity exists for a platform or app that uses comedy to shed light on social issues and spark conversations around topics like virginity and consent. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Digital Communication:** The digital communication industry can explore new approaches to address the issue of unsolicited sexting and promote consent and respect online. - **Cybersecurity:** The cybersecurity industry can develop tools and technologies to protect users from unsolicited sexting and harassment, ensuring a safer online environment. - **Entertainment:** The entertainment industry can leverage comedy and social commentary to create content that raises awareness about social issues like virginity and consent, while also providing humor to audiences. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Creative Texting Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/texttheinternet.md) - [Positive Social Media Campaigns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tumblr-campaign.md) - [Gender-Based Violence Awareness Films](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/my-friend-max-hate.md) - [AI Dating Aid Bots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wittywingman.md) - [Creator-Connecting Texting Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/creatorconnecting-texting-app.md) - [Anti-Late Night Texting Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dnt-txt-lockbox.md) - [Crowdsourced Fun Fact Databases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/straight-fax.md) - [Playful Gen-Z Dating Campaigns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crush-feelings.md) - [Sexless Social Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sexless-social-app.md)
