App users are able to shoot a video and have the most dynamic frames identified by the app. From there one of six visual styles may be applied to give the converted video a stylized look that resembles a hand-drawn comic. Instantly, one's creations may be saved or shared outside of the Storyboard app. Other Appsperiments from Google include the iOS-only Scrubbies app, as well as Selfissimo, which is available for both [Apple](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-video-editing-app) and Android device users. As Google describes, these new photography apps all introduce "usable and useful mobile photography experiences built on experimental technology." ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.2/10 - Popularity: 20% | Activity: 37% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 90% men, 10% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Mobile](https://www.trendhunter.com/mobile) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Video-transforming Applications:** Transforming a video into a comic strip with various visual styles using an app can be a new trend in photography. - **Dynamic Frame Detection:** Developing an app that identifies the most dynamic frames in a video can be a potential trend in video editing - **Usable and Useful Mobile Photography:** Creating photography apps that introduce experimental technology can be a trend in mobile photography. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Mobile App Industry:** This industry could develop specific apps that transform videos into comics, introducing unique features to increase user engagement. - **Video Editing Software Industry:** Developing dynamic frame detection software can be a new feature for editing software. - **Photography Industry:** Integrating experimental technologies in mobile photography can disrupt the photography industry with new ways of capturing moments and creating content. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Customizable Content Effects](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/google-5.md) - [Video Storyboard Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/storyonboards.md) - [AI Mood Board Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mixboard.md) - [Creator-Focused Video Editing Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/story-studio.md) - [Visual Timelapse Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/selfiestory.md) - [AI-Generated Storybooks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gemini-storybook.md) - [AI Comic Creators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mybedtimestoryai.md) - [Dynamic Visual Communication Platforms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/converstory.md) - [Slide Video Converters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pictory-ai.md)
