While several pieces of Star Wars memorabilia features certain primary characters such as Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker or C-3P0, this [iPhone](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casetify-star-wars-day) cover rather displays a secondary, yet equally beloved, Stormtrooper character in their distinct black and white uniform. Any fan of the Star Wars franchise will automatically recognize this distinct character and the influential part they played in the saga. If you love Sci-Fi movies and want to showcase it for all your friends to see, then these Stormtrooper-inspired cases are a creative way to accessorize your phones with some amazingly geeky items. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.0/10 - Popularity: 31% | Activity: 22% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Mobile](https://www.trendhunter.com/mobile) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Geeky Phone Cases:** The trend of using phone cases for self-expression is growing, creating a market for niche cases based on fandoms and interests. - **Secondary Character Merchandise:** Merchandise featuring secondary characters can be just as popular and profitable as those featuring primary characters. - **Fashion as Self-expression:** Phone cases have become a way for individuals to express their personality and interests through their accessories. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Phone Accessories:** The phone accessories industry can benefit by creating a variety of cases based on niche interests. - **Movie Merchandise:** Producing merchandise featuring less popular characters can expand the market for movie merch beyond the main characters. - **Fashion and Apparel:** The fashion industry can look for opportunities to incorporate fandom and geek culture into their wearable items, expanding their audience. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sci-Fi Series Tech Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casetify-star-wars-day.md) - [Sci-Fi Smartphone Grips](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/popsockets-dimensionals-star-wars.md) - [Collaboration Sci-Fi Tech Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/star-wars-x-casetify-collection.md) - [Sci-Fi-Themed Tech Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-mandalorian-x-casetify.md) - [Mecha Sci-Fi Smartphone Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casetify-gundam-collection.md) - [Power-Providing LED Smartphone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/starcase.md) - [Sophisticated Smartphone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sophisticated-smartphone-case.md) - [Hit Show-Themed Phone Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/squid-game-x-casetify.md) - [Mecha Anime-Inspired Cases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gundam-1.md)
