# 8-Bit Storage Wall Mounts These Cubic Storage Wall Mounts are Modernly Retro By Jen Chae | Published 2013-06-30 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/storage-wall-mounts References: [pinkoi](http://www.pinkoi.com/product/11JipYxV) Whether you want to display a small plant pot in the living room or need a place to put stationery above your desk, these block-like storage wall mounts will get the job done. The clean-cut 8-bit look of these wall mounts will add a colorful touch to any room. This design by Thai-based company [Qualy](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/treevive) is called the Pixel Box for a reason. The [LEGO](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-planterior)-like boxes are perfectly cubic with not a single rounded corner. The compartments are perfectly sized for makeup brushes, office supplies or small plants. You can get really creative while installing these wall mounts, too. Because they're basically like building blocks, they can be aligned to form an image or pattern. Playing around with these [8-bit interior decals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paint-mirror) will have you reminiscent of pixelated computer screens. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.7/10 - Popularity: 64% | Activity: 39% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Cubic Storage Wall Mounts:** Innovative storage solutions for displaying objects and organizing space in a modern and retro style. - **Pixelated Design:** The use of pixelated designs in home decor to add a nostalgic touch and create unique visual patterns. - **Customizable Wall Decor:** Opportunities for personalized wall art and interior design through the use of modular building block-like wall mounts. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Decor:** Innovative storage solutions that combine aesthetics and functionality for homes and offices. - **Interior Design:** Opportunities for incorporating pixelated designs and modular wall mounts into interior design projects. - **Stationery and Office Supplies:** The use of pixelated storage wall mounts as organizational tools for office supplies and stationery. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Vertical Honeycomb Storage Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wall-art-storage-system.md) - [Floating Stacked Storage Boxes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kgt-wall-unit.md) - [Sandbox-Like Modular Storage Cabinets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modular-storage-cabinet1.md) - [Playful Storage Blocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/berto-hidden-secrets.md) - [Wall-Mounted Modular Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wallwerx.md) - [Modular Magnetic Wall Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wall-organizer-concept.md) - [Cubic Wall-Mounted Light Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nanoleaf-blocks.md) - [Video Game-Like Bookcases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tetris-bookcase.md) - [Adorable Luxurious Storage Compartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luxurious-storage-compartment.md)
