Although the design of the Layer Design Charge Trays might have one think they are simply a storage tray, the units hide so much more than they let on. Outfitted with [wireless charging technology](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zens-quattro-wireless-charger-pro-4), the Layer Design Charge Trays are capable of providing power for smartphones when placed on the charging section. This enables users to unload their pockets, take off their watch and set down their smartphone for charging all in one spot to ensure it's all ready for being collected the next day to start the process over again. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.6/10 - Popularity: 76% | Activity: 53% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Wireless Charging Storage:** Smartphone storage solutions with wireless charging capabilities for added convenience. - **Multi-functional Trays:** Trays and organizers designed for multiple functions, such as storage and charging. - **Home Organization Gadgets:** Innovative gadgets and tools that aid users in organizing their homes with added technology. ### Where This Applies - **Consumer Electronics:** Manufacturers of wireless charging technology and other consumer electronics can benefit from developing multi-functional charging trays. - **Furniture Design:** Designers and manufacturers of furniture can incorporate multi-functional storage trays into their products for added convenience. - **Home Goods Retail:** Retailers of home organization and storage products can add wireless charging capabilities to their offerings to stay on trend. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Anti-Clutter Technology Chargers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ampi-charging-station.md) - [Decorative Device Chargers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tricharge-wireless-charger-concept.md) - [Miniature Sleek Charging Stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ampi.md) - [Bed-Like Technology Chargers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/foam-wireless-charger.md) - [Triangular Desktop Storage Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yofho-prisma.md) - [Wireless Charger Desk Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/orbitkey-nest-v2.md) - [Intelligent Wireless Charging Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/carousel-series.md) - [Minimalist Dual-Device Chargers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casetify-powerthru-2in1-charging-stand.md) - [Geometric Charging Stations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hexagon-310.md)
