As population density grows in cities while green movements and the desire to cut back grow with it, [small apartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/apartment-ann) are constantly being created, adapted and updated. This Stockholm apartment is only 193 square feet but manages to feel classic and homey at the same time. The pale wood floors, a mirrored backsplash and bright white colors in this apartment give it the illusion of having space. The copper accents and clean, modern design takes this [micro-apartment](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/miami-tiny-house) from being simply "cozy" to a more stylish living space. The stark white of this Stockholm apartment design ensures that the tiny space does not feel too cramped. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.5/10 - Popularity: 95% | Activity: 93% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Micro-design:** The trend of micro-design and architecture aims to create small and efficient spaces that still feel homey. - **Green Living:** The trend towards green movements has created a demand for sustainable and eco-friendly small living spaces. - **White Minimilism:** The trend towards white minimalism in small living spaces to create an illusion of having more space. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Real Estate:** The real estate industry could benefit from the trend towards more efficient and sustainable small living spaces. - **Furniture:** The furniture industry could benefit from the trend towards smaller living spaces by creating multifunctional and space-saving furniture. - **Architecture:** The architecture industry could benefit from the trend towards more efficient and aesthetically pleasing small living spaces by exploring new building materials and techniques. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Ultra-Slick Modern Apartment Interiors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modern-apartment-interior.md) - [Nostalgic 70s-Inspired Apartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-special-studio.md) - [Cleverly Designed Micro Apartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cabanon.md) - [Reimagined Minimal Parisian Apartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minimalist-cocoon.md) - [Thoughtful Micro Studio Apartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mini-studio-apartment.md) - [Compact White-Painted Modern Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/whitepainted-modern-home.md) - [Japanese Inn-Inspired Micro Apartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/la-tarta-piccola.md) - [Reinvented Compact Living](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/affordable-housing-prototype.md) - [Compact Living Bright Apartments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/apartment-ann.md)
