Calendars usually consist of a relatively boring design, so the Stitch the Stars kit is a breathe of fresh air that is perfect for kids and adults alike who want a [quirky calendar](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/irreversible-scale) to help keep track of the days. Each month of the Stitch the Stars kit calendar is emblazoned with that months [astrological sign](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zodiac-constellation-coasters) and requires that users complete the connect the dots-like activity to complete the image. What I like most about the Stitch the Stars kit is that it leaves such beautiful sentiments after it is completed that you'll likely not have the heart to throw it away and might even want to place all the cards in a frame to commemorate not only your work, but also the year as a whole. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.4/10 - Popularity: 3% | Activity: 1% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Glow-in-the-dark Constellations:** Innovative designs that utilize glow-in-the-dark technology to create unique and functional products. - **Handmade Calendar Kits:** The rise of DIY craft kits that provide a fun, hands-on activity for both children and adults. - **Interactive Calendars:** Calendars that provide unique and interactive ways to engage users and keep track of important dates. ### Where This Applies - **Arts and Crafts:** Opportunity for businesses that offer DIY craft kits to market and sell innovative designs like the Stitch the Stars calendar kit. - **Educational Toys:** The Stitch the Stars calendar kit and other interactive calendar products offer a unique opportunity for businesses that create educational toys for children. - **Stationery:** The popularization of handmade calendar kits provides an opportunity for businesses in the stationery industry to offer unique and personalized designs. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Crafty Yearly Journals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/2022-phenology-wheel-stitch-journal.md) - [DIY Embroidery Ornaments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/diy-stitched-ornament-kits.md) - [Monochromatic Lunar Event Calendars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/2023-naps-lunar-calendar.md) - [Miniature Astronomy Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tiny-planetarium.md) - [Customizable Journaling Calendar Stamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-consolidated-number-stamp.md) - [Intertwined Marble-Made Calendars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/noova-calendar.md) - [Coastal Desk Calendars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lighthouse-calendar.md) - [2023 Moon Calendars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moon-calendar-2023.md) - [Flipping Mechanical Desktop Calendars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gnomon-perpetual-flip-calendar.md)
