'stillmotion' videos are taking initiative to bring attention to some worthy stories.

Called the "Share" projects, 'stillmotion' donates their time, equipment and storyboard know-how to different stories with their aim being as simple as to gathering wider recognition for these people. Their first "Share" project was an interview-type film about the organization, Old Skool Cafe, that gives young people whose lives have been saturated with crime and poverty a solid alternative. It has only been posted for about 12 hours, but already has garnered attention from [Vimeo](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vimeo) staff, catapulting it to the Vimeo home page as a 'Staff Pick'.

An increasing number of [causes are brought to light](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/my-friend-max-hate) using easily accessible [short films](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/no-decision-without-us), perhaps the ridiculous amount of time that people are spending meandering through the net will go to better use than towards mindless clicking.
