First off, the brand has switched the pod packaging to a complete cardboard material that can be easily recycled after use. Next, the designed team focused on how they could reduce the overall material used in the packaging. As a result, the pod's paper manual was replaced with a QR code and the inner tray design was shrunk down.
Other changes to the packaging design include a new label with a holographic authentication sticker, a new front placement of the cannabis strain name, and an upgraded child-resistant, punch-out mechanism on the back. “This effort is one of many STIIIZY implementations in becoming a green, environmentally conscious company, and sustainability is a mindset we want to bring to all our efforts, ” says Shryne Group Marketing Director, Jackie Kim.
