# Triangular Teepee Art Steven Harrington Signed Prints Released on Arkitip By Jessica Marcel | Published 2009-10-25 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/steven-harrington References: [slamxhype](http://slamxhype.com/art-design/steven-harrington-prints/) & [arkitip](http://arkitip.com/fine-art/harrington/our-mountain/) Steven Harrington's new collection of prints titled “Past, Present, Future and Somehow, We All Seem Connected” incorporate [comic book style with modern art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/joopiter). The teepee art is an eccentric touch—-as is Steven Harrington's habit of giving eyes to almost all of the objects in his art. **Implications** - The [colorful and fun artworks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/keff-joons) are set up in a unique way that makes it hard to concentrate on just one aspect. Harrington often times combines real life with fantasy drawings such as the featured poster that has images of space mixed with [bright cartoon drawings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kenny-scharf-and-axel). The prints seem to hint at a much more in-depth story. Hopefully Steven Harrington will continue to tell that story in future art projects. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.6/10 - Popularity: 37% | Activity: 2% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Comic Book-meets-modern-art:** Opportunities for artists to incorporate traditional art forms with contemporary styles, creating unique and playful artworks. - **Fantastical Storytelling:** Incorporating imaginative visuals in art, that hints at a deeper storyline and creates an emotional connection with the viewer. - **Eccentric Art Display:** Creating artworks in a way that is unconventional, playful and demands attention, grabbing the attention of visitors and setting unique trends in art display. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Art and Design:** Artists, designers and illustrators can experiment and create unique art styles that combine traditional and contemporary styles. - **Entertainment:** Film and TV production studios can explore different ways of presenting fantastical storytelling and embracing eccentric art display to create unique visual experiences for the audience. - **Retail and Advertising:** Retailers and advertisers can use eccentric art display techniques to showcase their products in a way that is playful and demands attention, attracting and engaging potential customers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Artist-Inspired Linen Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/slowtide.md) - [Bow Tie-Wearing Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bow-tiewearing-sculpture.md) - [Outdoor Pavilion Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/teepee-pavilion.md) - [Outdoor-Inspired Colorful Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/travis-weller.md) - [Limited-Edition Artist-Honoring Tees](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/takashi-murakami-tee.md) - [Limited Printed Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/akari-lantern.md) - [Graphic Colorful Joint Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/richard-prince.md) - [Playful Cartoon Apparel](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kenny-scharf-and-axel.md) - [Heritage-Honoring Artful Posters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/archival-poster-collection.md)
