This portrait is literally constructed from 3,750 deer apples, apples that have fell to the ground and begun to rot. There have been a ton of tributes to Jobs as of late, but this apple portrait is especially touching thanks to its literalness. The Steve Jobs apple portrait also gets points in the awesome column due to the sheer amount of time and creativity required to create such a tribute such. Anyone can mock up a quick design on their computer, but it takes a dedicated creative to arrange a portrait using over 3,000 apples. The result is absolutely stunning. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.7/10 - Popularity: 26% | Activity: 48% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Food](https://www.trendhunter.com/food) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Tribute Art:** There is a growing trend of artists creating unique and touching tributes through unconventional mediums, such as using rotting apples to create a portrait. - **Literal Art:** The use of literal representations in artwork, like the Steve Jobs apple portrait, is becoming increasingly popular as it adds depth and meaning to the piece. - **Creative Memorials:** Creating elaborate and visually stunning memorials, like the apple portrait of Steve Jobs, is an emerging trend that allows people to honor and remember influential figures in a unique way. ### Who This Affects Most - **Art:** The art industry has an opportunity to embrace unconventional materials and mediums to create impactful and memorable tributes, like the Steve Jobs apple portrait. - **Technology:** The technology industry can explore innovative ways to incorporate art and creativity into their products and services to pay homage to visionaries like Steve Jobs. - **Memorial Services:** The memorial services industry can offer creative and personalized options, such as creating unique artworks like the apple portrait, to help people honor and remember their loved ones in a meaningful way. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Tech Brand Tractor Models](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/apple-tractor-pro.md) - [Mirrored Sculpture Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sabine-marcelis-1.md) - [Repurposed Vintage Apple Computers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/repurposed-vintage-apple-computers.md) - [Sleek Tech Brand Drones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/apple-drone.md) - [Crystalline Tech Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/apple-clear-series.md) - [Sculpted Tech Brand Supercars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/apple-icar-concept.md) - [Patent-Inspired Tech Car Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/apple-car-concept.md) - [Tech-Base Workspace Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/foster-partners4.md) - [Vintage Icon-Themed Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/susan-kare.md)
