Renowned British photographer Stephen Gill has given us a new and astonishing series of photos. Hackney Flowers is a collagelike photo series in which Gill took a bunch of [seeds, flowers, berries](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flower-preservation) and even insects and pressed them to photographs in his studio. He then rephotographed them alongside other photographs to create a multilayered image effect.

Hackney Flowers by Stephen Gill is an interesting approach to [modern photography](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nonnas-cam) using traditional elements.

**Implications** - My favorite of these [flora photo wonders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/farming-photographs) has got to be the one featuring gigantic yellow petals, reminiscent of the skins on bananas. The unique piece almost looks like a palm tree the way it's put together and I think I would very much enjoy it if such a tree existed.
