# Sloped Citrus Squeezers The Steep Juicer Takes the Mess Out of Making Juice By Michael Hines | Published 2010-08-30 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/steep-juicer References: [yankodesign](http://www.yankodesign.com/2010/08/23/freshly-squeezed-and-straight-into-the-glass/) Do fewer dishes and enjoy your fresh juice faster with the Steep Juicer from Jackob Mazor. This electric juicer has no container for your juice; instead, it incorporates a sloped design to funnel the juice into a waiting cup below. The Steep Juicer doesn't reinvent the wheel or anything, but it does make the original product easier to use, which should be the objective of all redesigns. Check out the gallery above to see the Steep Juicer in action. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.2/10 - Popularity: 28% | Activity: 31% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Steep Design:** The sloped design of the Steep Juicer opens up opportunities to create more efficient and mess-free kitchen appliances. - **Minimalist Appliances:** The Steep Juicer's lack of extra containers or parts reflects the growing trend towards minimalist kitchen appliances that streamline functionality. - **Enhanced User Experience:** The Steep Juicer's user-friendly design highlights the demand for products that prioritize ease of use and convenience. ### Who This Affects Most - **Kitchen Appliances:** The Steep Juicer sets a new standard for kitchen appliances by incorporating a sloped design that makes juicing more efficient and hassle-free. - **Home Appliances:** The minimalist and user-friendly features of the Steep Juicer align with the ongoing trend towards innovative and convenient home appliances. - **Product Design:** The Steep Juicer showcases the potential for creating disruptive innovation in product design by reimagining and improving the functionality of traditional kitchen appliances. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Aesthetically Pleasing Citrus Juicers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hay-sowden-juicer.md) - [Countertop-Sized Industrial Juicers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/freshn-squeeze-1800-citrus-juicer.md) - [Filter-Free Slow Juicers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hazel-quinn-slow-juicer.md) - [Professional Juicing Machines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/citrocasa-xpro.md) - [Whole Fruit Retailer Juicers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/citrocasa-fantastic-express.md) - [Effortless Tea Brewing Cups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cuptone-teacup.md) - [Single-Serving Countertop Juicers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/magic-bullet-mini-juicer.md) - [Fruit-Squeezing Water Bottles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pressa-bottle.md) - [Clog-Free Cold Press Juicers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ninja-neverclog-cold-press-juicer.md)
