The architects of Copenhagan's 'Amager Bakke' clean energy plant launched a [Kickstarter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/planto) campaign for the chimney's steam ring generator. This plant is quite incredible itself, as it will be the cleanest waste-to-energy plant in the world, have a [functional ski slope on its roof](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/powerhouse) as well as a chimney that releases smoky rings into the sky.

With a desire to showcase the plant's clean energy, the architects want to build a steam ring generator inside its chimney. Each ring would signify that one carbon tonne had been emitted. Instead of hiding information about emissions, the rings would be showcasing the scientific facts onto the sky for everyone to see.

Rocket scientists and combustion engineers are teaming up with B.I.G. architects to create another prototype that will be one third of the final chimney's size. Entirely altering people's perspectives of power plants, this design paves the way for more eco-friendly, multipurpose architecture.
