The aptly named Folder chair takes its inspiration from the traditional [paper file folders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fold-stool). It has a [funky look](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sitter-chair) with its bright yellow colour, and it might actually add some life to an accountant’s office, but the downfall of this design is that it looks super uncomfortable! Maybe Rita can add bubble wrap as padding for her next innovative piece? ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.0/10 - Popularity: 3% | Activity: 19% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Stationary Inspired Office Furniture:** The trend of creating office furniture designs inspired by stationary items like paper file folders. - **Geeky Furniture Concepts:** The trend of developing furniture designs that cater to the geeky and playful aesthetic. - **Functional Design Vs.
