Located in Lima, Peru, [Casa Blanca](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lima-house) is a gorgeous home designed to appear like a solid single block. Divided into three levels, the house boasts floor-to-ceiling windows on the main floor that reveal the epic [orange spiral staircase](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/colien-house) that conjures up visions of the Nickelodeon logo. A bright mixture of white and orange, the first floor is complemented by a basement and stunning rooftop terrace. Designed by architect Martin Dulanto Sangalli, the home is centered around the statement staircase that gives the space a more laid back feeling to an otherwise all-white scheme that would otherwise border on being clinical. The design also integrated [sustainable elements](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/elevated-leisure-habitat) that encourage natural sources of light and natural ventilation. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.3/10 - Popularity: 88% | Activity: 62% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Vibrant Statement Staircases:** The trend of vibrant statement staircases presents opportunities for architects and interior designers to create visually striking and unique focal points in homes and buildings. - **Ultramodern Home Design:** The trend of ultramodern home design opens up opportunities for architects and builders to create sleek, minimalist homes with innovative features and eye-catching elements. - **Sustainable Architecture:** The trend of sustainable architecture provides opportunities for architects and designers to integrate sustainable elements into their designs, promoting energy efficiency and eco-friendly practices. ### Who This Affects Most - **Architecture:** The architecture industry can embrace the trend of vibrant statement staircases, creating bold and visually stunning designs that stand out from traditional staircases. - **Interior Design:** The interior design industry can capitalize on the trend of vibrant statement staircases by incorporating them into their designs to add a unique and vibrant touch to residential and commercial spaces. - **Construction:** The construction industry can explore the trend of ultramodern home design, building sleek and innovative homes that cater to the modern aesthetic preferences of homeowners. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sculptural Townhome Staircases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/atelier-pierre-thibault-1.md) - [Timbered Passage Stair Extensions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooden-annex.md) - [Concrete Spiral Staircase Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cadenza.md) - [Remodelled Staircase-Centric Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cobalt-coach-house.md) - [Dutch Barn Spiralled Staircase](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/julia-van-beuningen.md) - [History-Rooted Urban Renovations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-sofia.md) - [Colorfully Bright Hillside Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/canary-house.md) - [Stepped Hillside Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/b2a-architects.md) - [Compact White-Painted Modern Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/whitepainted-modern-home.md)
