Resembling a scoop of ice cream, this modern light pendant design is a great option for any [minimalist interior](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lightmass) as well as a candy-themed children's room. Italian architect Pier Francesco Galuppini and Swedish designer Caroline Bauer of BAAG joined together to create this fun and practical home accessory. Inspired by whimsical forms, the 'Stasis' Pendant Lamp displays a playful visual concept that is created using powder coated metal sheet materials and rubberized paint available in white and pink-hued tones. This stylized home accessory features a round and organic shape that further embodies its sugary theme. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.7/10 - Popularity: 28% | Activity: 14% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Minimalist Lighting:** The 'Stasis' Pendant Lamp offers a sleek and modern lighting option for minimalist interiors. - **Candy-themed Decor:** The candy-inspired design of the 'Stasis' Pendant Lamp makes it an ideal addition to children's rooms with a sweet theme. - **Whimsical Home Accessories:** The playful and organic shape of the 'Stasis' Pendant Lamp embodies the trend of whimsical home decor. ### Who This Affects Most - **Interior Design:** The 'Stasis' Pendant Lamp offers new possibilities for designers to incorporate minimalist lighting into their projects. - **Children's Furniture:** The candy-themed design of the 'Stasis' Pendant Lamp opens up opportunities for incorporating playful decor in children's furniture. - **Home Decor:** The whimsical and organic shape of the 'Stasis' Pendant Lamp presents a disruptive innovation opportunity for the home decor industry. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Gelato-Inspired Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gelato-lamp.md) - [Colorful 3D-Printed Portable Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portable-soft-serve-lamp.md) - [Bakery-Inspired Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/croissant-pendant-light.md) - [Baked Good-Inspired Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/croissant-pendant.md) - [Pasta-Inspired Curvaceous Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/neotenic-lamp.md) - [Mouth-Blown Glass Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grid-pendant-light.md) - [Bubble-Inspired Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bubbles-lighting-design.md) - [Dreamlike Bubble-Shaped Illuminators](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/airshape-lamp.md) - [Organic Cloud-Like Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/khmara.md)
