To facilitate a tidier office environment and to complement the [minimalist look](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wool-felt-studio-pad) of this beautiful specimen of contemporary electronic equipment is the clever Quirky Stashboard for [iMac](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/elago-magnetic-stand-for-ipad). An L-shaped piece of transparent polycarbonate acts as a small shelf for extra storage. Its acutely angled bend mimics the incline of the monitor's stand, enabling the ledge to maintain levelness when fixed to it. A semicircular clip at the top fits perfectly into the round opening in the screen's base so that the Stashboard for iMac can simply hang with sufficient support. The see-through shelf is large enough to stash external hard drives, charging gadgets and keyboards, but small enough not to project beyond the footprint of the computer. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.3/10 - Popularity: 74% | Activity: 77% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Computers](https://www.trendhunter.com/computers) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Minimalist Workstations:** The trend of creating clutter-free workstations promotes the need for innovative storage solutions like the Stashboard for iMac. - **Transparent Accessories:** The use of transparent materials, like polycarbonate, in design accessories offers a sleek and modern aesthetic for workspaces. - **Integrative Desk Organizers:** The demand for desk organizers that seamlessly integrate with existing office equipment presents opportunities for disruptive innovations in workspace organization. ### Who This Affects Most - **Technology Accessories:** The technology accessories industry can capitalize on the trend of minimalist workstations by developing innovative storage solutions for desktop computers. - **Home Office Furniture:** The home office furniture industry can incorporate the trend of transparent accessories in the design of desks and workstations to offer a modern and clean look to customers. - **Office Supplies:** The office supplies industry can create integrative desk organizers that cater to the specific needs of various electronic devices and office equipment. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Machined Aluminum Computer Docks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/satechi-slim-dock.md) - [Wood Desk Shelves](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/desk-shelf-pro.md) - [Carved Timber Workstation Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/organization-kit.md) - [Whiteboard Workstation Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/deskboard-buddy.md) - [Undulating Desktop Valet Trays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wav-minimal-desk-organizer.md) - [Minimalist Desktop Shelving Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/balolo-setup-cockpit.md) - [Race‑inspired Tracker Trays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/race-track-desk.md) - [Vertical Desk Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tower-desk1.md) - [Elevated Desktop Storage Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/storage-and-display-tray-system.md)
