Che Pablo Popeye Eyzenbach may be the coolest name I’ve ever seen. Yes. Definitely the coolest. Anyway, Start It Up is a room in a box. It’s the [most compact dorm room](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cabanon) ever invented, that I know of. Che Pablo Popeye Eyzenbach (could have just called him Eyzenbach, but what fun would that be?) constructed this [table/chairs/armoire combo](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modular-table-and-chair) out of heavy duty cardboard. Not only is Start It Up multifunctional, it’s recyclable too. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.1/10 - Popularity: 25% | Activity: 31% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Compact Living Solutions:** The trend of compact living solutions is providing innovative opportunities to create multifunctional and space-saving furniture. - **Sustainable Materials:** The use of recyclable materials, such as cardboard, in furniture design is a disruptive innovation opportunity for the sustainability-focused industries. - **Modular Furniture:** The trend of modular furniture is creating opportunities for customizable and adaptable designs to fit smaller living spaces. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture Design:** The furniture design industry can explore the use of sustainable materials and modular designs to cater to the compact living solutions trend. - **Interior Design:** Interior design industry professionals can incorporate compact living solutions and modular furniture concepts to optimize space in small living environments. - **Sustainable Packaging:** The sustainable packaging industry can explore the use of cardboard and other recyclable materials for innovative product designs, such as the Start It Up cardboard room. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Cardboard Box Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/karton-furniture-collection.md) - [Cardboard Box-Transformed Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/box-exhibition.md) - [Flatpack Cardboard Room Dividers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nook-room-dividers.md) - [Ergonomic Cardboard Seat Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cardboard-chair-process-book.md) - [Collapsible Flatpack Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/edo-side-table.md) - [Storage-Friendly Origami Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-kerf.md) - [Cardboard-Inspired Ceramic Household Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cardboard-collection.md) - [Compact Furniture Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/boxed-collection.md) - [Striking E-Commerce Packaging](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/maksim-arbuzov.md)
