Especially perfect for urbanites who don't often get the full effect of the glowing constellations, the Starry Light ensures that people don't lose sight of their natural surroundings, if in a rather artificial way. Designed by graphic designer Anna Farkas and interior designer Miklós Batisz of Anagraphic, the Starry Light was inspired by the idea of treating the common lamp as an art piece. [Manufactured by hand](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nest-lamp) in Budapest, Hungary, the Starry Light are each one-of-a-kind even though they convey the same constellations. Emitting a warm, white light, the lamps can be customized to each customer's desires. They are available in different colors such as purple, black and white. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.4/10 - Popularity: 42% | Activity: 53% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Starry-light Lighting:** The Starry Light by Anagraphic is a unique lighting concept that brings the night sky indoors for a bit of whimsy, and poses an opportunity for innovation in the lighting industry through more customizable and personalized lighting options. - **Nature-inspired Interior Design:** The Starry Light's inspiration to bring the natural world indoors creates opportunities for designers to think outside the box and integrate more natural elements to their designs, turning ordinary spaces into extraordinary experiences. - **Handcrafted Home Decor:** The fact that The Starry Light is handcrafted by Anagraphic in Hungary shows how there is an appreciation for artisanal, personalized home decor, providing opportunities to tap into a market of consumers looking for unique pieces to add to their homes. ### Where This Applies - **Lighting:** The Starry Light by Anagraphic disrupts the lighting industry by providing customizable lighting options that create an unforgettable experience for customers. - **Interior Design:** The Starry Light appeals to those looking to bring the natural world indoors and turns ordinary spaces into extraordinary experiences, showcasing an opportunity to integrate nature-inspired designs to create unique spaces that stand out in the interior design industry. - **Home Decor:** The Starry Light was created by Anagraphic as a unique, one-of-a-kind home decor item, opening up opportunities for other home decor companies to create personalized decor items for consumers looking to add a touch of personality and uniqueness to their homes. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Astronaut Night Light Projectors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/night-light-projectors.md) - [Moon-Inspired Lighting Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lua.md) - [Dazzling Gradient Lighting Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/star-bulb.md) - [Evening Sky-Inspired Lighting Fixtures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/evening-sky.md) - [Celestial Ceiling Lighting Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cosmobile.md) - [Horizontal Glass Sphere Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/comet-pendant.md) - [Astronomical Concept-Inspired Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/copernica.md) - [Astro-Inspired Sculptural Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/elara-suspension.md) - [Solar System-Inspired Lighting Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cosmooval.md)
