# Star Wars Weddings May the Force Unite You By Cowbag | Published 2008-08-05 | Unique Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/star-wars-weddings-may-the-farce-be-with-you References: [flickr](http://www.flickr.com/photos/jwinokur/sets/72157605939800686/) There are theme weddings and then there are Star Wars weddings. I love this wedding as they have managed to pull off a themed wedding without turning it in a tack fest. I mean, even the wedding photographs are awesome and brilliantly done. The [Star Wars wedding cake](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/star-wars-tray) also manages to pull off the theme without turning to tack. Congratulations to this couple, who generously shared their photos on Flickr. **Implications** - I sure hope to have a wedding as kickass as this Star Wars one, and if I do you can bet I'll be sharing all of the pictures! The ability for a couple to pull off a themed wedding as bold as this proves that it can certainly be done -- and probably should! ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.3/10 - Popularity: 75% | Activity: 76% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Unique](https://www.trendhunter.com/unique) > [Bizarre](https://www.trendhunter.com/bizarre) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Themed Weddings:** Creating unique and personalized wedding experiences through themed weddings. - **Creative Wedding Photography:** Innovative approaches to capturing memorable moments during weddings. - **Non-traditional Wedding Cakes:** Exploring alternative designs and themes for wedding cakes. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Wedding Planning:** Opportunity for wedding planners to offer unique themed wedding packages and services. - **Photography:** Photographers can diversify their services by specializing in creative wedding photography. - **Bakery and Confectionery:** Bakers can tap into the demand for non-traditional wedding cakes by offering customized themed designs. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sci-Fi-Themed Donut Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pinkbox-doughnuts-star-wars-day.md) - [Sci-Fi-Honoring Toy Puzzle Books](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/force-of-creativity.md) - [Sci-Fi-Inspired Classical Posters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sen-donnan.md) - [Sci-Fi Fragrance Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hotel-collection-star-wars.md) - [Sci-Fi Coffee Brews](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/scifi-coffee-brews.md) - [Sci-Fi-Themed Cars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/volkswagen-2.md) - [Dairytale Bridal Tributes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/disney-wedding-dresses-1.md) - [Sci-Fi Franchise-Inspired Fashion](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/star-wars-collection-2.md) - [Collaboration Sci-Fi Tech Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/star-wars-x-casetify-collection.md)
