# Sci-Fi Vehicle Illustrations Scott Park Refashioned Star Wars Vehicles with Clean Minimalism By Malika Renee Butss | Published 2015-11-10 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/star-wars-vehicles References: [hypebeast](http://hypebeast.com/2015/11/star-wars-vehicle-illustration-scott-park) & [society6](https://society6.com/product/a-long-time-ago-jdc_print) In addition to the film's list of iconic characters, Star Wars vehicles also make up a grand portion of the franchise's noteworthy attributes. Recreating each transportation device with a simpler design, artist Scott Park is giving Star Wars fans a chance to enjoy his minimalist art pieces. Stripping most of the detail away from these Star Wars vehicles, Scott Park renders each mechanized transportation device in a flat perspective juxtaposed against bright color fields. This gives the images a child-like picture book quality that is both clean and simplistic. These illustrations feature such heavy machinery as Han Solo's Millennium Falcon and the four-legged [AT-AT Walker](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gingerbread-atat). Star Wars fans wishing to pursue these prints can purchase the three print posters for $16.00 at the Society6 eboutique. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.0/10 - Popularity: 45% | Activity: 36% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Sci-fi Vehicle Minimalism:** Illustrating iconic vehicles from popular science fiction franchises in a simplified, minimalistic style that appeals to fans and collectors alike. - **Iconic Transportation Device Artistry:** Capturing the essence of beloved modes of transportation from popular culture through stylized illustrations and designs that pay homage to their cultural significance. - **Bright Contrast Futuristic Art:** Utilizing contrasting color concepts and bold futuristic designs to create a striking visual aesthetic that appeals to fans of science fiction and pop culture. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Entertainment:** Offering unique, high-quality merchandise such as minimalist art prints of popular science fiction film franchises to amplify the customer experience and increase brand loyalty. - **Art & Design:** Providing a new take on design style and aesthetic for pop culture and sci-fi fans to admire and appreciate, while opening up marketing potential and collaboration opportunities in various industries. - **E-commerce:** Engineer a streamlined digital retail shopping experience by offering unique and trendy products that aligns with popular trend and niche audiences to appease demand. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sci-Fi-Themed Cars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/volkswagen-2.md) - [Sci-Fi Electric Vans](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/volkswagen-van.md) - [Sci-Fi Franchise-Inspired Fashion](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/star-wars-collection-2.md) - [Millennium Falcon Trays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/star-wars-tray.md) - [Desert Planet Sci-Fi Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sands-of-tatooine-collection.md) - [Subtly Sci-Fi Watch Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/star-wars-x-citizen-rebel-starfighter-boxed-set.md) - [Retro Space-Themed Puzzled Posters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/john-carter.md) - [Dark Sci-Fi Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/darc-sport.md) - [Sci-Fi Spacecraft LEGO Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/scifi-spacecraft-lego-set.md)
