Trying to infuse such a widely popular and established medium as the [Star Wars franchise](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cocacola-x-star-wars) with a new feel is no easy task, but these Star Wars prints by Poster Inspired -- a.k.a Marcus -- are proof that the classic and contemporary often go hand in hand.

The Kuala Lumpur-based artist has taken the [pop culture imagery](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/joopiter) of the space opera saga and infused it with a variety of vintage graphics and hipster-savvy visuals. The Dandy Warhol-themed poster is particularly appropriate when considering that the artist is effectively combining two very different, yet familiar forms of pop culture references.

As for the posters for the [three original films](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brickbuilt-star-wars-logo), Marcus created a series of prints that look to be reclaimed scrolls from a wooden chest, complementing the aesthetics of the aged, yet timeless classics.
