# Stop-Motion Star Wars LEGO Jedi Built to Look as Though They're in Heated Battle By Andrew Robichaud | Published 2009-07-20 | Life-Stages Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/star-wars-lego References: [gearfuse](http://www.gearfuse.com/star-wars-clone-wars-lego/) & [flickr](http://www.flickr.com/photos/ochre_jelly/) We have seen [Star Wars Lego](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fandomhonoring-building-block-sets) featured here on Trend Hunter, but this collection is much, much different. Star Wars was always a "had to see to believe" type of movie. In honour of that sentiment, these Lego Star Wars figurines are making a valiant attempt to keep the fire alive by mimicking movement. The [stop-motion Lego Jedi](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-diorama) have extra Lego attachments that appropriately (and quite skillfully) imply that they’re moving. They show [epic Jedi battles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ucs-death-star) and tragic deaths of good guys (well, C-3PO…just because he’s an android doesn’t mean it’s not upsetting). The set is really awesome and the images are even better! ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.0/10 - Popularity: 42% | Activity: 40% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Life-Stages](https://www.trendhunter.com/life-stages) > [Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/toys) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Stop-motion Animation:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Developing advanced stop-motion animation techniques to enhance storytelling and create captivating visual experiences. - **LEGO Collectibles:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Designing unique LEGO collectibles that evoke nostalgia and allow fans to recreate iconic scenes from their favorite movies. - **Immersive Fan Experiences:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Creating immersive experiences that bring fans closer to their favorite fictional worlds through interactive play and innovative storytelling. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Animation:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Exploring cutting-edge animation technologies to revolutionize the way stories are told and bring imaginative worlds to life. - **Toy Manufacturing:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Incorporating technology and creativity into toy manufacturing to offer unique and interactive play experiences that appeal to collectors and enthusiasts. - **Entertainment:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Integrating interactive and immersive elements into entertainment experiences to engage audiences and create memorable moments. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sci-Fi Movie Scene Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-death-star-trash-compactor-diorama.md) - [Sci-Fi Scene-Inspired Lego Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/scifi-sceneinspired-lego-set.md) - [Sci Fi-Inspired Desk Decor](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lightsaber-lego.md) - [Celebratory Sci-Fi Toy Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-star-wars-25th-anniversary.md) - [Droid-Inspired Building Block Models](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-c3po.md) - [Festive Sci-Fi Building Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gingerbread-atat-walker.md) - [Sci-Fi-Honoring Toy Puzzle Books](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/force-of-creativity.md) - [Sci-Fi-Inspired Classical Posters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sen-donnan.md) - [Sci-Fi Large-Scale Block Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ucs-death-star.md)
