As a fan of Star Wars, particularly its design, he knew he wanted to incorporate a [Star Wars theme](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/star-wars-collection-2) in his wedding. He describes his invitations as "part puzzle, part museum piece," as they aren't simply just an invitation with Star Wars graphics. Instead, when guests received the invitation in the mail, they are faced with a puzzle in the form of a black box with a message on it. Once opened, a [Star Wars toy ship](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/star-wars-tray) is revealed with the interactive words "Take Off." Guests must take off the ship to find the details about the wedding. Whether you're a Star Wars fan or not, these invitations are amazing, and they are the perfect guidelines for you and your fiancé to make invitations based on your interests. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.2/10 - Popularity: 42% | Activity: 45% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Personalized Wedding Invitations:** Opportunity for couples to create unique and custom wedding invitations that reflect their interests and personalities. - **Interactive Invitations:** Incorporating interactive elements in wedding invitations creates a memorable and engaging experience for guests. - **Themed Wedding Invitations:** Designing wedding invitations with a specific theme allows couples to showcase their passions and create a cohesive wedding experience. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Wedding Planning:** Wedding planners and designers can offer personalized and interactive invitation design services to enhance the overall wedding experience. - **Stationery:** Stationery companies can innovate by offering customizable and themed wedding invitation options to cater to couples looking for unique designs. - **Event Design and Decor:** Event designers and decorators can collaborate with couples to incorporate interactive and themed elements in the overall wedding decor, aligning with the personalized invitations. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sci-Fi-Inspired Classical Posters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sen-donnan.md) - [Sci-Fi-Themed Cruiser Puzzle Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/venator-attack.md) - [Sci-Fi-Honoring Toy Puzzle Books](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/force-of-creativity.md) - [Sci-Fi Scene-Inspired Lego Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/scifi-sceneinspired-lego-set.md) - [Artful Wedding Stationery](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minted-x-the-met-wedding-collection.md) - [Co-Branded Wedding Invitation Suites](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wedding-invitation-suite.md) - [Sci-Fi-Themed Donut Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pinkbox-doughnuts-star-wars-day.md) - [Sci-Fi Film-Inspired Custom Eyewear](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lucasfilm.md) - [Celebratory Sci-Fi Toy Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-star-wars-25th-anniversary.md)
