Chewbacca, Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader and a Stormtrooper are all represented with the Selk'bag sleeping bags that are designed to allow for full-range motion. The spring and summer sleeping bags are rated for use in temperatures down to 40-degrees Fahrenheit and allow wearers to walk around while they have the sleeping bag on. Although intended for camping and sleepovers, the Selk'bag Star Wars hero sleeping bags are a great piece of [cosplay gear](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/star-wars-collection-2) that can be worn to keep wearers warm at anytime they wish. The sleeping bags come packed in carrying bags and are easily entered into via a single zipper. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.2/10 - Popularity: 53% | Activity: 65% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Intergalactic Cosplay Gear:** Opportunity to create innovative cosplay gear that combines functionality and playful design. - **Full-range Motion Sleeping Bags:** Disruptive innovation opportunity to develop sleeping bags that allow wearers to move freely while staying warm. - **Multi-use Camping Equipment:** Chance to invent versatile camping gear that can also be used for cosplay or sleepovers. ### Where This Applies - **Outdoor Gear:** Opportunity for outdoor gear companies to collaborate with entertainment franchises and create unique product lines. - **Cosplay and Costuming:** Innovation possibilities for companies specializing in cosplay and costume design to create functional and themed sleeping bags. - **Adventure Tourism:** Potential for adventure tourism companies to offer unique camping experiences that incorporate cosplay and pop culture elements. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Wearable Campsite Sleeping Bags](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/momonga-wearable-sleeping-bag.md) - [Transforming Sci-Fi Plush Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pillow-pets-star-wars-chewbacca.md) - [Insulated Sci-Fi Garments](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/columbia-x-star-wars-skywalker-pilot-ski-collection.md) - [Manga-Inspired Sleeping Bags](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nanga-attack-on-titan-sleeping-bag.md) - [Air Mattress-Equipped Sleeping Bags](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trekroll-sleeping-bag.md) - [Butterfly-Inspired Sleeping Bags](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ust-monarch-sleeping-bag.md) - [Extreme Environment Sleeping Bags](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aerogel-sleeping-bag.md) - [Layering-Friendly Sleeping Bags](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rumpl-wrap-sack-20.md) - [Battery-Powered Heated Sleeping Bags](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/coleman-onesource-heated-sleeping-bag.md)
