# Fanboy Mansions The 'Star Wars' Fan Home is Paradise for Geeks Everywhere By Annie Ho | Published 2010-05-13 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/star-wars-fan-home References: [home-designing](http://www.home-designing.com/2010/05/another-star-wars-fan-home) & [visboo](http://visboo.com/home-theater-of-star-wars-fan.html) This 'Star Wars Fan' Home is a fanboy's dream abode. Although the designer of this house is unknown, we know well that whoever made this house is obsessed with 'Star Wars.' It may look like a [regular mansion](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hollywood-hills-house-1) on the outside, but the second you step into the house, *bam*--'Star Wars' paradise. I would give up my condo complex to live in a 'Star Wars' fan home. The house is fully equipped with movie posters of 'Star Wars,' a [home movie system](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-lucas-museum-of-narrative-arts) that looks like a 'Star Wars' ship and a room dedicated to ['Star Wars' merchandise](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fandomhonoring-building-block-sets). I wonder how much this whole house cost. Any guesses? ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.5/10 - Popularity: 83% | Activity: 74% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Fanboy Homes:** Creating homes designed around specific fandoms can attract passionate buyers and create a unique living experience. - **Themed Interior Design:** Interior designers can incorporate a client's fandom into their home decor to create a personalized and immersive living space. - **Pop Culture Real Estate:** Developing unique properties based on popular culture franchises can attract dedicated fans and collectors willing to pay a premium for exclusivity. ### Who This Affects Most - **Real Estate:** Incorporating themed designs into new or existing homes can increase property values and appeal to niche markets. - **Interior Design:** Designers can offer personalized spaces that incorporate a client's specific fandom, creating a unique living experience. - **Merchandising:** Expanding into real estate or creating pop-up fan homes can provide new avenues to showcase and sell licensed merchandise. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sci-Fi Series-Inspired Rentable Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/byers-house.md) - [Galactic Cafe Experiences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/Star-wars-themed-cafe.md) - [Sci Fi-Inspired Desk Decor](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lightsaber-lego.md) - [Sci-Fi Large-Scale Block Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ucs-death-star.md) - [Sci-Fi Space Station Puzzles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/maze-game.md) - [Sci-Fi Scene-Inspired Lego Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/scifi-sceneinspired-lego-set.md) - [Desert Planet Sci-Fi Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sands-of-tatooine-collection.md) - [Sci-Fi Series Tech Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casetify-star-wars-day.md) - [Millennium Falcon Trays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/star-wars-tray.md)
