The Star Wars propaganda-styled art illustrations were created to to celebrate the annual 'May the Fourth Be With You' event. The art depictions showcase popular characters such as Darth Vader, C-3PO, Jabba the Hut and one of those visually impaired [Storm Troopers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/star-wars-x-columbia-collection) that's inspired several Internet jokes. The Star Wars displays by Kungl will be showcased at Disneyland Resort, California for the ACME Artist Showcase. Luke Skywalker may be the protagonist of this film series, but there's no doubt in anyone's mind that Darth Vader is the one character that people often remember on a regular basis when remembering this franchise. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.9/10 - Popularity: 60% | Activity: 48% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Sci-fi Displays:** Opportunity to create immersive and engaging sci-fi displays for fans of popular franchises. - **Propaganda Art:** Incorporating propaganda-style art into various pop culture events and exhibits. - **Fan Commemoration:** Creating commemorative artwork and displays to celebrate dedicated fan communities. ### Who This Affects Most - **Entertainment:** Opportunity to incorporate sci-fi displays and artwork into theme parks, museums, and entertainment venues. - **Art and Design:** Opportunity for artists and designers to explore and experiment with propaganda art styles in their work. - **Merchandising:** Opportunity to create collectible merchandise featuring propaganda-style art inspired by popular franchises. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sci-Fi Franchise-Inspired Fashion](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/star-wars-collection-2.md) - [Sci-Fi-Themed Cars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/volkswagen-2.md) - [Sci-Fi Film-Inspired Custom Eyewear](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lucasfilm.md) - [Dark Sci-Fi Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/darc-sport.md) - [Desert Planet Sci-Fi Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sands-of-tatooine-collection.md) - [Sci-Fi Franchise Logo Puzzles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brickbuilt-star-wars-logo.md) - [Sci-Fi-Themed Donut Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pinkbox-doughnuts-star-wars-day.md) - [Galactic Cafe Experiences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/Star-wars-themed-cafe.md) - [Sci-Fi Scene-Inspired Lego Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/scifi-sceneinspired-lego-set.md)
