Rather than being treated to a piece of chocolate each day, children will be surprised with one of 24 LEGO minifigs during the days of December. As well as being a great gift on its own, this [holiday advent calendar](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/james-bond-2024-advent) is a great addition to a growing collection of [LEGO toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lightsaber-lego) and Star Wars merchandise. The newest addition to the Star Wars franchise, The Force Awakens, is set to release near the end of this Christmas countdown, which will add an extra level of excitement for kids, especially as the new film is introducing some new characters to the Star Wars universe. While many advent calendars for kids are only useful for a month, this one provides an entire set of toys that can be used throughout the year. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.7/10 - Popularity: 78% | Activity: 86% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Life-Stages](https://www.trendhunter.com/life-stages) > [Youth](https://www.trendhunter.com/youth) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **LEGO Toy Advent Calendars:** The rise of LEGO toy advent calendars provides a new way for children to count down to Christmas while collecting miniature toys. - **Sci-fi Toy Collectibles:** The popularity of sci-fi toy advent calendars presents opportunities for collectors to add to their growing collection of Star Wars merchandise. - **Interactive Advent Calendars:** The trend of interactive advent calendars offers a fun and engaging way for kids to celebrate the holiday season. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Toy Manufacturing:** Toy manufacturers can capitalize on the demand for LEGO advent calendars by creating innovative and themed versions for various franchises. - **Film and Entertainment Merchandise:** The film and entertainment merchandise industry can benefit from producing sci-fi toy advent calendars, such as Star Wars, to cater to the growing market of collectors and fans. - **Holiday and Seasonal Products:** The holiday and seasonal products industry can explore the production of interactive advent calendars that offer unique experiences and surprises to children and adults alike. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [LEGO Advent Calendars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-advent-calendars.md) - [Superhero-Themed Puzzled Advent Calendars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/avengers-advent-calendar.md) - [Cubic Sci-Fi Advent Calendars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/star-trek-borg-cube-advent-calendar.md) - [Festive Sci-Fi Building Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gingerbread-atat-walker.md) - [Magical Toy Advent Calendars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-harry-potter.md) - [Playful Minifigurine Daily Calendars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/minifigureaday-daily-calendar.md) - [Game-Building Advent Calendars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/electronic-games-advent-calendar.md) - [Sci-Fi-Honoring Toy Puzzle Books](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/force-of-creativity.md) - [Sophisticated Sci-Fi Toy Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lego-ultimate-collectors-series-atat.md)
