# Office Supply Municipalities The Staple City Product Imitates Metropolitan Skylines By Jordy E | Published 2013-01-04 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/staple-city References: [gizmodo](http://www.gizmodo.com/5972774/staple-citys-a-towering-metropolis-of-desk-organization) & [animicausa](http://www.animicausa.com/shop/Office-Gifts/Staple-City/tpflypage.tpl.html) The Animi Causa Boutique Staple City mimics the outline of [metropolitan skylines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/seoul-my-soul), seen in the high rise buildings and dense amount of construction. This [office supply set](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/forming-function-nomad-collection) is quite handy, adding to its evident visual appeal. The considerable number of faux edifices will allow for a significant number of refills, eliminating the need to fill up on the small silver bits at several points throughout the year. On the flip side, the miniature set is also appropriate for home spaces, especially those that contain personal workrooms or studios. Organization is similarly key to the product as one's workspace will be tended to within a [single glass encased dome](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bisley), one that is rather compact with the 10x8x7 cm dimensions. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.4/10 - Popularity: 1% | Activity: 3% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Customization](https://www.trendhunter.com/customization) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Skyscraper-inspired Office Supplies:** Opportunity to create office supplies that mimic the outline of metropolitan skylines, providing visual appeal and organization. - **Miniature Office Supply Sets:** Opportunity to design compact office supply sets suitable for home spaces, such as workrooms or studios. - **Refillable Office Supplies:** Opportunity to develop office supplies with a significant number of refills, reducing the need for frequent replacements. ### Who This Affects Most - **Office Supplies:** The office supply industry can innovate by incorporating design elements inspired by metropolitan skylines into their products. - **Home Furnishings:** The home furnishings industry can create compact office supply sets for personal workrooms or studios. - **Stationery:** The stationery industry can develop refillable office supplies to cater to the demand for sustainable and long-lasting products. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Brutalist Aluminum Stationery Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lumon.md) - [Beach-Inspired Desk Trios](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/deskterior.md) - [Sturdy Home Decor](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modern-cement-decor.md) - [Aerospace-Inspired Desk Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/novium-edge-and-shuttleport.md) - [Carved Timber Workstation Organizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/organization-kit.md) - [Dumpster Pencil Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dumpstuder-pencil-holders.md) - [Portable Personal Office Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beblau-vertical-office.md) - [Knick-Knack Storage Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spiky-desk-concept.md) - [Minimal Compact Pen Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/serenity-pen-stand.md)
