This particular offering is called the Billy BL lamp, and it is designed with a pair of 'feet' that keep the lamp balanced, while giving a look that's more elegant than the typical rounded base. Designed by UK-based designer Ilse Crawford as part of a collection compiled for the Austrian design form Kalmar Werkstatten, this particular [standing lamp](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/alma-light-totem-i) makes use of brass in the base feet, while elegant rosewood enhances the lamp's slender and graceful aesthetic.
