The offices are located in a [refurbished old building](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flat-iron-house), and PSLAB used the existing architecture's pedigree to help inform this unique staircase light installation. A series of [old car headlights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wa-lamp) were retrofitted with incandescent lamps and mounted to the wall. The headlights are connected with red wires and light the artwork that hangs on the opposite wall. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.5/10 - Popularity: 30% | Activity: 7% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Refurbished Architecture:** Opportunity for innovative lighting installations that incorporate existing architectural elements. - **Retrofitted Car Headlights:** Potential for creating unique lighting fixtures by repurposing car headlights. - **Connected Artwork Lighting:** Advancement in lighting design by integrating artwork illumination with connected lighting systems. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Architecture and Construction:** Architects and designers can explore innovative lighting solutions that enhance refurbished buildings. - **Automotive:** Opportunity for automotive companies to repurpose car headlights into lighting fixtures for various applications. - **Art and Design:** Incorporating connected lighting systems into artwork installations can revolutionize the way artwork is illuminated. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Intricate Lighting Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/objects-of-common-interest1.md) - [Suspended Lighting Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/suspended-lighting-installation.md) - [Recycled Lighting Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nytt-lys-collection.md) - [Material-Exploring Industrial-Style Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/industrialstyle-lighting.md) - [Scenic Architecture Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/architecture-inspired-table-lamp.md) - [Utensil Waste Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nytt-lys.md) - [Sleek Structural Lighting Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/emotional-lab-light.md) - [Creation-Centric Light Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/head-hi-show.md) - [Volcanic-Themed Light Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stone-archive.md)
