The home features an expansive white base and has a [wood-paneled cube](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-house-on-a-hill) that sits on top of it in an asymmetrical way. The inside of this stacked house is less divided, with a largely [open space that has high ceilings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/galeria-house) and unique decor. The home features a large wall in its living room area that is decorated with the familiar pixelated images from the arcade game Space Invaders. This stacked home offers a unique, eclectic space that combines designs that are both sophisticated and playful – making it ideal for families. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.7/10 - Popularity: 88% | Activity: 44% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Stacked Housing:** Exploring the trend of stacked housing designs that offer unique and cohesive interiors despite their exterior appearance. - **Asymmetrical Architecture:** Embracing the trend of asymmetrical architectural designs that create visual interest and uniqueness in homes. - **Pixelated Decor:** Adopting the trend of incorporating pixelated images and designs into interior decor, adding a playful and nostalgic touch to the space. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Architecture:** Architects can explore innovative ways to design stacked housing that optimizes interior space and fosters creative living environments. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can experiment with asymmetrical elements and pixelated decor to create unique and visually engaging spaces for clients. - **Furniture and Decor:** Furniture and decor manufacturers can create products inspired by the stacked housing trend, offering functional and stylish solutions for modern homes. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Staggered Floor Modern Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-of-seven-floors.md) - [Wooden Screen Stacked Houses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casa-vjc-iporanga.md) - [Compact White-Painted Modern Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/whitepainted-modern-home.md) - [Sustainable Cubic Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/appels-architekten.md) - [Concrete Boxes-Overlapping Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-in-tsurumiku.md) - [Playful-Focused Polish Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/znamy-si.md) - [Sculptural Inverted Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/a-house-with-an-inverted-roof.md) - [Slopped-Base Green Tiled Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bak-gordon-arquitectos.md) - [Refreshing Micro-Living Compact Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sffr-house.md)
