These pebbles may be used by simply stacking them atop each other to create a column for your smartphone, thus creating a makeshift stand that looks pretty by your bedside or on the kitchen counter. The silicone balls will stick to any hard surface if pressure is applied to its center. The beauty of the product is that it can be used in so many creative ways, for example, it may act as a wrist rest for tired desk workers or serve as an effective platform for people with overheating laptops to prop their computers up on. With so many uses, the 'Smart Pebbles' are the new pet rocks in town. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.1/10 - Popularity: 65% | Activity: 21% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Multi-purpose Gadget Holders:** Creating versatile holders that can accommodate various consumer gadgets. - **Stackable Product Design:** Developing a design for products that can be easily stacked to create new offerings. - **Innovative Use of Silicone:** Creating new products that use the versatile material of silicone in unexpected ways. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Consumer Electronics:** Developing multi-functional accessories for popular electronic devices. - **Office Furniture and Supplies:** Creating ergonomic products like wrist rests for long-term computer use. - **Home Decor:** Innovating with decorative products that also serve functional purposes in the home and office. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Power-Providing Smartphone Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/solove-power-bank.md) - [Silicone Shell Heating Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ergostone-pebble.md) - [Magnetic Phone Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kyan.md) - [Multi-Purpose Computer Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/computer-stand3.md) - [Cement-Made Smartphone Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/artifox-monument.md) - [Naturalistic Stone Device Chargers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/einova-charging-stone.md) - [Ultra-Slim Folding Laptop Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/metastand-pro.md) - [Ergonomic Multi-Position Laptop Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smartview-organizing-laptop-riser.md) - [Origami-Inspired Technology Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tablet-and-phone-stand.md)
