The StabCam is a camera stabilizer rig that is designed specifically for [GoPros](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/magsafe-mobile-tripod). This contraption can be attached to existing [GoPro](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/gopro-fluid-pro-ai) mounts and is capable of automatically tracking moving subjects.

This 3-axis stabilizer works with all GoPro [Hero](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hero-action-camera) models. Because of this functionality, the possibilities are pretty interesting -- it can be mounted onto a helmet, attached to a car or stuck on the end of a pole, beyond other things. It's weatherproof and can withstand snow and rain, making it perfect for capturing awesome extreme sport shots.

This camera stabilizer also has a 'Follow Me' mode wherein it locks onto a user's smartphone and pans and tilts the camera to keep them centered in the shot at all times.

Point-of-view photography and videography are no longer novel things in itself, and this is leading to the development of accessories like the StabCam that remove restrictions on how and where one can film.
