The ST2 Pinion features upgraded internal components from the Belt, as well as the shift to an internally-housed six-speed Pinion gearbox, which makes for a more weather-resistant frame, as well as a more sleek image. The ST2 Pinion is powered by a [rear-hub motor](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mahle-xs-system) with a peak power output of 750 watts. This motor is supplied by a 655-Wh battery pack that results in a maximum range of 120 kilometers per charge, and a top speed of 45 kilometers per hour. In miles, this equals to 28Mph and a range of 75 miles.
