Perhaps people should sign a petition encouraging artist Matt W Moore to create more for other cities. The [abstract blocks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-triennale-museum) with their multi-colored sides would be a treat for pedestrians everywhere. Similar to his [Crystals and Lasers](http://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crystals-and-lasers) art piece, the Sretenka Sculptures take on geometry in a playful and vibrant way. The prismatic patterns have been applied to smaller three dimensional objects rather than a big wall and other flat canvasses. Although the Sretenka Sculptures are meant to be looked at, their shapes can easily be regarded as [artistic stools and benches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cosmologyscape). Perhaps that will be Moore's next project. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.9/10 - Popularity: 78% | Activity: 30% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Colorful Geometric Installations:** Opportunity for artists to create vibrant, multi-colored sculptures that can brighten up public spaces. - **Abstract Three-dimensional Art:** Potential for artists to explore prismatic patterns on smaller, three-dimensional objects instead of traditional flat canvases. - **Artistic Stools and Benches:** Innovative opportunity to combine sculpture with functional furniture, creating visually appealing seating options for public spaces. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Public Art and Design:** Application of vibrant, multi-colored sculptures in public spaces to enhance aesthetic appeal and cultural experiences. - **Contemporary Art and Sculpture:** Exploration of prismatic patterns on three-dimensional objects as a new approach in contemporary art and sculpture. - **Furniture and Interior Design:** Integration of sculpture-inspired functionality in furniture design, offering unique seating options for both indoor and outdoor spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Whimsical Sculptural Furniture Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/city-block-series.md) - [Sculptural Public Seating](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptural-public-seating.md) - [Intricate Lighting Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/objects-of-common-interest1.md) - [Statement Street Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/surreal-street-art-1.md) - [Spiky Inflatable Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/inflatable-sculptures1.md) - [Nature-Inspired Urban Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kriskadecor-1.md) - [Psychedelic Sculptural Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/frank-stella-recent-sculpture.md) - [Urban Text Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/peace-love-joy.md) - [Colorful Texture Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/colorscape-installation.md)
