# Toothpaste-Squeezing Toothbrushes The 'Squeeze' Toothbrush by Kevin Clarridge Deters Waste By Michael Hemsworth | Published 2017-08-06 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/squeeze-toothbrush References: [yankodesign](http://www.yankodesign.com/2017/08/04/the-no-paste-waste-brush/) It can be nearly impossible to squeeze every last drop of toothpaste from the tube, so the 'Squeeze' Toothbrush aims to ensure that this is a constant possibility with every tube you purchase. Cleverly designed by Kevin Clarridge, the [toothbrush design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/evogrip) incorporates a traditional toothbrush head along with a detachable clip that will squeeze the tube from the top to the bottom. This will push all of the toothpaste to the tip in order to make it possible to use all of it rather than letting some go to waste when you near the end of the tube. The 'Squeeze' Toothbrush also works effectively to keep your [toothpaste tube](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/twist-tottle) looking trim and tidy to have your [bathroom cabinet](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clea-toothbrush-sanitizer) looking neater than ever. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.3/10 - Popularity: 62% | Activity: 59% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Waste-reducing Toothbrushes:** Toothbrush designs that reduce waste by utilizing every last drop of toothpaste from the tube. - **Multi-functional Toothbrushes:** New toothbrush inventions that have detachable clips to squeeze toothpaste tubes and keep them organized. - **Sustainable Oral Care Products:** An increase in products designed to reduce waste in the oral care industry, including toothbrushes and toothpaste tubes. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Oral Care Industry:** The oral care industry stands to benefit from new designs that reduce waste and offer unique functionalities, potentially changing the game for toothbrushes and toothpaste packaging with more sustainable options. - **Consumer Goods Industry:** Manufacturers of consumer goods can explore innovative ways to reduce waste and improve functionality of everyday products, and possibly improve customer satisfaction with products like toothbrushes and toothpaste, by following the example of this toothbrush. - **Sustainability Industry:** New sustainable products coming out of industries like oral care could contribute to further innovation and development of products that are not only good for customers but also good for the environment. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sustainable Reusable Toothpaste Containers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mimo.md) - [Stand-Up Water Fountain Toothbrushes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/Youseeuc.md) - [Recyclable Toothpaste Pouches](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/toothpaste-pouch.md) - [Sustainability-Focused Reusable Toothbrushes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/reusable-toothbrush.md) - [Modular Electric Toothbrushes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sustainable-electric-toothbrush.md) - [Reduced Plastic Toothpaste Packaging](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/colgatepalmolive-1.md) - [Recyclable Toothpaste Tubes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/colgate-toothpaste-tube.md) - [Water-Saving Toothpaste Tabs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/toothchews.md) - [Portable Toothbrush sanitizers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clea-toothbrush-sanitizer.md)
