It is a modern [bird feeder](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/birdbuddy-2-mini) that resembles an oversized spool for thread or yarn. But instead of either, Spun by Urbanproduct has been hollowed out to create two troughs: one for the [birdseed](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-bird-feeders1) and the other for water. Simple, functional and stylish, Spun by Urbanproduct is suspended using a set of tension wire, although it can easily be left on an elevated surface as well. It has been hand turned out of [solid maple wood](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nature-observation-device), which would complement any outdoor setting. Large enough to accommodate a number of birds at once, Spun by Urbanproduct is a must-have for the home. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.3/10 - Popularity: 65% | Activity: 25% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Functional Outdoor Design:** The trend of functional outdoor design focuses on creating stylish and practical products for outdoor enthusiasts. - **Sustainable Gardening Tools:** The trend of sustainable gardening tools aims to reduce environmental impact while offering effective solutions for gardening tasks. - **Birdwatching Accessories:** The trend of birdwatching accessories provides innovative and stylish products for bird enthusiasts. ### Where This Applies - **Home and Garden:** The home and garden industry can benefit from developing unique and functional products that enhance outdoor living spaces. - **Eco-friendly Products:** The eco-friendly products industry can capitalize on producing sustainable gardening tools that help reduce environmental impact. - **Pet Supplies:** The pet supplies industry can expand their product offering by including birdwatching accessories for bird owners. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Highly Functional Bird Feeders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ori-bird.md) - [Dual-Function Play Swings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/birddy.md) - [Sustainable Bird House Feeders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bamboo-bird.md) - [Uniquely-Shaped Animal Feeders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/retro-camper-mesh-bird-feeder.md) - [Interactive Observation Wooden Birdhouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/domik-ptashki.md) - [Squirrel-Resistant Smart Bird Feeders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/birdkiss-s1.md) - [Targeted Bird Seed Blends](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cool-birds.md) - [Bird-Inspired Speaker Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/birdinspired-speaker.md) - [Bird-Shaped Food Packagings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bigbilled-bird-food-concept.md)
