Seiko originally made the Presage line of watches after traditional Japanese craft influence combined with watchmaking. The watches with the enhanced movement system will be available in October for a $4,500 price point. The caliber 5R65 Spring Drive movement system offers similar accuracy as Seiko's GS 9R65 movement system, The 5R65 has an accuracy measured at ±1 second per day, while the GS 9R65 system has ±0.5 seconds per day accuracy. The updated line of Presage watches will feature a 40mm case that is referred to as "Super Hard." The watch also has a 72-hour power reserve as well as an enamel dial with Arabic numbering.
