Last year, the [Spout Coffee Company](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spout-water) cafe became the first retail space in all of Pretoria, South Africa, to be made from [recycled shipping containers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kennedy-model). As a result, the eye-catching new cafe has quickly become a hit among those looking for a unique space to grab a cup of coffee and a bite to eat.

Spout Coffee Company is a hip cafe located on an unused lot in Pretoria’s Hazelwood neighborhood. The cafe is made up of two repurposed shipping containers stacked on top of one another to create a two-story space. Downstairs there is a [walk-up coffee bar](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-chapel) and kitchen, while the upstairs area features extra seating and a five-kilogram small batch roaster. There is also an open-air patio out front for customers to relax and enjoy the cafe's gourmet coffee and baked goods.
