# Spiritual Office Spaces This Office is Designed to Evoke a Sense of Peace and Calm By Mishal Omar | Published 2016-10-25 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spiritual-office References: [officesnapshots](https://officesnapshots.com/2016/10/20/gulf-ispat-limited-offices-gurgaon/) This spiritual office space was designed for a steel manufacturing company in Gurgaon, India. The space was created by the firm 'AVG Architecture and Interiors' and was clearly designed with natural and religious elements in mind. With areas made up of either wood, stone or windows that optimize light, it is clear the office was built with the intention of enhancing the natural elements it is made up with. The most clear sign of the office's religious and spiritual influence is the fact that it features an [indoor courtyard](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sanctum-house) covered in artificial grass that has a large Buddha statue as its primary design focus. The design of this spiritual office fulfills its purpose of creating an environment that is peaceful, relaxing and in-tune with nature while still offering contemporary elements. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.3/10 - Popularity: 80% | Activity: 72% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Spiritual Office Design:** Opportunity to create office spaces that evoke a sense of peace, calm, and spiritual connection. - **Natural and Religious Elements in Office Spaces:** Opportunity to incorporate natural materials and religious symbols into office designs for a calming and spiritual atmosphere. - **Enhancing Natural Elements in Office Spaces:** Opportunity to optimize light, use wood and stone, and create indoor courtyards to enhance the natural elements in office spaces. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Interior Design:** Opportunity for interior design firms to specialize in creating spiritual and calming office spaces. - **Steel Manufacturing:** Opportunity for steel manufacturing companies to incorporate spiritual office design principles into their corporate spaces to promote employee well-being and productivity. - **Office Furniture and Decor:** Opportunity for companies specializing in office furniture and decor to offer products that align with the trend of spiritual and calming office spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Self-Designed Tranquil Workspaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/studio-saransh.md) - [Indian Spiritual Hub Buildings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sri-aurobindo-integral-life-centre.md) - [Biophilic Workplace Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mangrove-garden.md) - [Sustainably Designed Mumbai Offices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/office27.md) - [Plant-Centric Dynamic Office Spaces](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/garden-of-edyn.md) - [Valley-Inspired Offices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kitaoka-group-office.md) - [Multi-Faith Spiritual Temples](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nondenominational-temple.md) - [Tranquil Plant-Filled Offices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wyer-co.md) - [Nature Integrated Offices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bochum-office.md)
