The Windows 10 app works with [Microsoft's](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/microsoft-designer-app) new Surface pen or any mouse to let users create [kaleidoscopic images](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smooth-wallpaper-maker) reminiscent of the patterns created by looping the Fibonacci sequence. One of the biggest pluses for Spirality is that anyone can use it. By simply tapping the page and adjusting a few settings to one's taste, the app can create images just as captivating as if they were designed by a professional. Aside from the output, that quality makes it a great tool for [fidgeting or absent-mindedly relieving stress](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fidgeting-apps). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.3/10 - Popularity: 15% | Activity: 15% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Fractal Art Creation:** Easy-to-use software and hardware allow for the creation of fractal art by anyone, regardless of skill level. - **Kaleidoscopic Images:** The popularity of kaleidoscopic images is increasing, creating opportunities for art businesses to explore this trend. - **Stress-relief Apps:** Apps that focus on mental health and stress relief are gaining traction, and spirality is one example of this. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Software:** Software developers can create similar easy-to-use fractal art creation programs and capitalize on the increasing interest in this type of art. - **Hardware and Accessories:** Companies that create hardware or accessories, such as pens, to enhance the user experience of these types of apps have potential growth opportunities. - **Art and Design:** The popularity of fractal and kaleidoscopic art provides opportunities for businesses in the art and design industry to market and sell these unique pieces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Creative Infinite Whiteboard Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/freeform-app.md) - [Creativity-Supporting Art Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blank-app.md) - [AI Coloring Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/splat.md) - [Creative Floral Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/floralbooth.md) - [Mesmerizing Sand Pattern Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crystal-sandsara.md) - [AI-Fueled Digital Art Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drawww.md) - [Creative Imaging Tools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pic-2-planet.md) - [Democratic Digital Artwork Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/artzme-app.md) - [Digital AI-Generated Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/picsart-1.md)
