The art piece consists of two slides, intertwining in a double helix-like structure. Each participant will be handed a plant and allowed to slide down with it in one of the 20 meter-high tubes. The interactive spiral installation will explore the way [plants respond and mirror human emotions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/plant-pulses). Carsten Höller's double helix will also double as a [scientific experiment](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/seed-stories), since participants are encouraged to go to a laboratory in the basement after their experience. Scientists will test the plants and figure out if the botanic organisms have picked up the person's emotions. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.4/10 - Popularity: 15% | Activity: 18% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Interactive Art Installations:** Opportunity to create immersive art experiences that engage participants on a sensory level through interactive elements. - **Emotional-responsive Technology:** Chance to develop technologies that can analyze and interpret human emotions and their impact on other organisms. - **Exploring Human-plant Relationships:** Potential to study the complex interactions between humans and plants and uncover the emotional connections that exist. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Art and Entertainment:** Possibility to create innovative art installations that provide unique and engaging experiences for visitors. - **Technology and Analytics:** Opportunity to develop advanced technologies and analytics tools that can analyze and interpret human emotions. - **Botany and Environmental Science:** Chance to explore the emotional responses of plants and deepen our understanding of the human-plant relationship. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Blooming Clustered Art Forms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/structural-botany.md) - [Organic Spiral Pavilions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pasona-natureverse-pavilion.md) - [Vibrantly Pink Skelter Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stay-playful.md) - [Outdoor Floral Sculpture Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sculptures-at-kew-gardens.md) - [Nature-Inspired Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/humannature-1.md) - [Artfully Rotating Glass Pillars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/panorama.md) - [Climate-Controlled Chamber Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spruce-time.md) - [Energy-Generating Park Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/energy-park.md) - [Reflective Indoor Gardens](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/space-caviar.md)
