Owner Ryan Fisher sat down with Trend Hunter to talk about SPiN and what it means to go out in the modern day. The scene is shifting when it comes to having fun in the city. Whereas [going out to clubs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ballers-sports-venue) is fun for the younger crowd and dinners can be fun for the more mature, there doesn't seem to be a good in between option. SPiN is allowing people to go out and have fun while also experiencing the same kind of relaxed atmosphere a dinner provides -- food included. [Ping Pong](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/casablanca-ping-pong-table) is fun for all ages and so is SPiN Toronto, so if you're looking for a place to go to have fun, think about making SPiN your destination. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.2/10 - Popularity: 7% | Activity: 50% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Health](https://www.trendhunter.com/health) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Social Sports Bars:** Opportunity for bars to incorporate interactive and engaging activities like ping pong to attract a wider audience. - **Casual Competitive Atmosphere:** Creating a laid-back environment that also encourages friendly competition can appeal to different age groups and interests. - **Food and Fun Fusion:** Combining dining and entertainment experiences like SPiN's ping pong bars can enhance the overall customer experience. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Hospitality:** Hotels, restaurants, and bars can benefit from creating unique experiences like SPiN's ping pong bars to attract customers and differentiate from competitors. - **Recreation and Entertainment:** Facilities that offer casual and competitive activities like ping pong can provide a refreshing alternative to traditional entertainment options. - **Event Planning:** Event planners can incorporate interactive and engaging activities like ping pong to create unique and enjoyable experiences for attendees. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Toronto Gastro-Gaming Businesses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oche.md) - [Reflective Ping-Pong Parlour Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/match-point-installation.md) - [Chic Ballroom Interiors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-ballroom-bowl.md) - [Experience Cocktail Workshops](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spirithouse-toronto.md) - [Corporate Team Building Parties](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/team-building-activities-toronto.md) - [Bar-Centric Lecture Events](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sip-and-learn.md) - [Immersive Upscale Dining Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/playbook-commons.md) - [Inflatable Entertainment Complex Expansions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/inflatable-entertainment.md) - [Cheeky Custom Rage Rooms](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/custom-rage-room.md)
