Delicate and sophisticated, the lamp adds a [romantic touch](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/evening-sky) to the atmosphere without being overly feminine. Designed by Italian lighting manufacturer Axo Light, the Spillray Pendant Lamps are [made out of glass](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/foscarini-1). They seem to be available in three different shapes and three different colors. The lights are especially perfect for the dining and kitchen areas; I feel as though they could double as carafes if they detached. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.4/10 - Popularity: 39% | Activity: 25% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Contemporary Lighting:** There is a trend towards contemporary lighting designs that add a touch of whimsy to any space. - **Glass Pendant Lamps:** Glass pendant lamps are becoming popular as a way to introduce elegance and sophistication in interior design. - **Multi-functional Design:** The concept of designing products that can serve multiple purposes, such as the Spillray Pendant Lamps doubling as carafes, is gaining traction. ### Where This Applies - **Home Decor:** The home decor industry can embrace the trend of contemporary lighting designs to cater to consumers looking for unique and whimsical options. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can incorporate glass pendant lamps to create an elegant and sophisticated ambiance in residential and commercial spaces. - **Product Design:** Product designers can explore the concept of multi-functional designs to create innovative and versatile lighting solutions. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Archetypal Conical Light Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fragile-lamp.md) - [Maximalist Arched Pendant Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oblure.md) - [Mouth-Blown Glass Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grid-pendant-light.md) - [Blown Glass-Inspired Lighting Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luisa-collection.md) - [Enchanting Hanging Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hf-series.md) - [Pear-Shaped Outdoor Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/outdoor-lamp1.md) - [Metaphorically Inspired Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bilanciato-pendants.md) - [Mesmerizing Glass Pendants](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-dew-pendant.md) - [Eclipse-Inspired Whimsical Pendant Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/space-traveler.md)
