# Spidery Gadget Holders The Spider Podium from JTT can Hold Your iPhone from Anywhere By Michael Hines | Published 2010-06-08 | Tech Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spider-podium-from-jtt References: [gizmag](http://www.gizmag.com/spider-podium-gadget-display-stand/15287/) & [jtt.ne.jp](http://www.jtt.ne.jp/) The Spider Podium from JTT is a cleverly named gadget holder that will revolutionize how you hold your [iPhone](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/popsockets-kickout-grip-and-stand), [PSP](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/patapon-1-2-replay), cell phone, etc. Revolutionize is a strong word, but then again, I feel strongly about the Spider Podium from JTT. The Spider Podium has eight legs that each bend and stretch. All of these legs are non-slip, meaning your gadgets won't go tumbling down when mounted from the ceiling fan. The Spider Podium can cling to anything or it can just be used as a [regular stand](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/acestand-2). Check it out in action in the gallery above. This is one spider you won't want to kill with a newspaper. Ever. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.0/10 - Popularity: 7% | Activity: 14% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Flexible Gadget Holders:** Opportunity to develop new flexible materials that can hold devices from any surface. - **Non-slip Device Mounts:** Opportunity to create new non-slip materials for device mounts for more secure attachments. - **Versatile Device Stands:** Opportunity to design new device stands that can be adjusted for use in various positions and surfaces. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Consumer Electronics:** Innovation opportunity for the development of new device accessories. - **Home Decor:** Opportunity to create multi-purpose device accessories that can blend in with home decor. - **Travel and Leisure:** Opportunity to provide convenient and secure ways to hold devices during travel and leisure activities. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Freestanding Smartphone Dock Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jteman-phone-stand-and-speaker.md) - [Multi-Functional Smartphone Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/meboge.md) - [Pocket-Sized Smartphone Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mophie-portable-magnetic-stand.md) - [Adjustable Clip Smartphone Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/phoneclip.md) - [Mini Desk Technology Mounts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/elgato-mini-mount.md) - [Adjustable Geared Smartphone Holders](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/3dprinted-smartphone-holder.md) - [Adaptable Magnetic Smartphone Grips](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/popsockets-kickout-grip-and-stand.md) - [Shapeshifting Photography Tripods](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/octopus-tripod.md) - [Magnetic Phone Stands](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ganinno-r-stand.md)
