# Spherical Photography Effects Stellar Fantasy Worlds by Five Different Artists By Elsa Blaine | Published 2009-03-15 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spherical-photography-effects-fantasy-worlds References: [weburbanist](http://weburbanist.com/2009/03/08/polar-panoramic-stereographic-urban-photographs/) What looks like strange tiny planets in these pictures are actually manipulated photographs by five talented artists. The special effects they have applied to [panoramic photos](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/epic-ai-travel-photos) have created these [fantasy spherical worlds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grand-ballroom). The image of the white church perched on what appears to be a tennis ball is my favorite; it and the second picture are by photographer Gadl. Images 3 and 4 are from the same panoramic original by Heiwa, but the first is wrapped outwards and the second inwards, resulting in completely different effects. Image 5 shows the photographs before and after Seb Przd applied the [spherical effects](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lumisphere-experience). He also was the man behind the park trees. Photos 7 and 8 are by Japanese photographer Vitroids--the lighthouse image is awesome. The final two examples are by Boltron, who shows us both globular city and beachfront home views. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.7/10 - Popularity: 86% | Activity: 46% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Spherical Photography Effects:** Spherical photography effects as a way to create fantasy spherical worlds through special effects. - **Panoramic Photo Editing:** Panoramic photo editing techniques to produce eye-catching images with unique shapes and perspectives. - **Artistic Image Manipulation:** Artistic image manipulation with techniques that provide photographers with more creative options to visualize their work. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Photography Industry:** These trends provide new opportunities for photography professionals to offer unique and creative services to clients. - **Graphic Design Industry:** These trends can be used as a source of inspiration to create visually appealing designs in advertising, web design, and other graphic design fields. - **Tourism Industry:** These trends can help the tourism industry to create attractive and immersive experiences for travelers and visitors through unique photography displays. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [AI-Generated Real-World Transformations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-generated-world.md) - [Glass Solar System Artwork](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-solar-system-in-a-sphere.md) - [Painting-Immersive Photo Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/new-ground-exhibition.md) - [Miniature Spherical Replica Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mini-sphere.md) - [Festive Light Painting Techniques](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/light-painting-1.md) - [Nostalgia-Inspired Experiences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bubble-planet.md) - [Artful Garden Inflatable Spheres](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/this-is-air.md) - [AI-Generated Retrofuturistic Objects](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/retrofuturistic-objects.md) - [Stars-Inspired Elliptical Planetariums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/planetarium-design.md)
