# Spherical Video Cameras This 360-Degree Camera Helps Users Capture Spherical Panoramas By Katherine Pendrill | Published 2015-09-05 | Tech Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spherical-panoramas References: [techcrunch](http://techcrunch.com/2015/09/02/bubl-seed/?ncid=rss) & [bublcam](http://bublcam.com/) '[Bubl](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cocktail-shots1)' is a 360-degree video camera that allows users to capture spherical panoramas. While there are many cameras and accessories designed for capturing panoramic images, this device provides blindspot-free footage. Bubl features a unique tetrahedral design that allows for zero blindspots. The camera lenses overlap, which ensures that the images can be stitched together into a perfect spherical shape. These images can then be viewed on a mobile device or even a [virtual reality headset](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spatial-video-camera). The immersive 360-degree video camera thus makes it easy for users to capture breathtaking spherical panoramas. Although there are other panoramic cameras on the market, Bubl is one of the only devices that is compatible with virtual reality technology. The device is thus an excellent choice for those who are interested in experimenting with the immersive software. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.6/10 - Popularity: 61% | Activity: 70% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### Key Themes Behind This Trend - **Spherical Video Cameras:** There is a growing trend of spherical video cameras that allow users to capture panoramic images without blindspots. - **Blindspot-free Footage:** The trend of blindspot-free footage in cameras is disrupting the panoramic imaging industry, providing users with seamless and complete spherical panoramas. - **Virtual Reality Integration:** The integration of virtual reality technology into panoramic cameras is a disruptive innovation that enhances the immersive experience for users. ### Where This Applies - **Photography:** The photography industry can benefit from spherical video cameras as they offer a unique way to capture panoramic images. - **Virtual Reality:** The virtual reality industry can leverage the compatibility of spherical video cameras with VR technology to enhance the immersive viewing experience. - **Consumer Electronics:** The consumer electronics industry can explore opportunities to incorporate blindspot-free footage technology into various camera devices to meet the demand for seamless panoramic imaging. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Hyper High-Resolution Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hyper-highresolution-camera.md) - [Immersive 360 camera debuts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/osmo-360.md) - [High-End Imaging Action Cams](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/qoocam-3.md) - [Low-Cost 360-Degree Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/akaso-360.md) - [User-Friendly 360-Degree Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ricoh-theta-x.md) - [Wide-Angle Lens Action Cams](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/xiaomi-mi-action-360.md) - [Pocket-Sized 3D Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/qoocam-ego.md) - [5G-Enabled 360-Degree Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nokia-360-camera.md) - [Quad-Lens GIF Cameras](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moment-3d-camera.md)
