The SPHERGO Surface Cleaning System combines the company's MicroWorks microfiber environmental hygiene and cleaning pads, with a lightweight base affixed with a patent-pending spherical ball handle. This specially designed handle rotates in order to minimize musculoskeletal stresses incurred during the cleaning process. For added versatility, the tool can be used as both a handheld cleaning tool, or combined with an extension pole to tackle hard-to-reach areas. The microfiber pads are also disposable, which is an affordable and convenient option for restaurants that don't have on-site laundry services. By combining superior cleaning products with an [ergonomic design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ergo-m575sp), the SPHERGO Surface Cleaning System helps [QSR](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/burger-king-your-way-champions) operators reduce on-the-job injuries. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.7/10 - Popularity: 3% | Activity: 9% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Business](https://www.trendhunter.com/business) > [Retail](https://www.trendhunter.com/retail) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Ergonomic Cleaning Tools:** Companies can create ergonomic tools for different industries, minimizing musculoskeletal stresses incurred during manual tasks. - **Disposable Cleaning Tools:** As the use of disposable cleaning tools like microfiber environmental hygiene and cleaning pads grows, businesses can leverage this trend to provide affordable and convenient cleaning solutions. - **Hygienic Cleaning Solutions:** Businesses can create and promote cleaning solutions that emphasize hygiene statndards to reduce the risk of illness in public spaces. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Fast Food Restaurants:** Solutions like the SPHERGO Surface Cleaning System can reduce occupational injuries incurred by workers who carry out back-of-house cleaning in fast food restaurants. - **Janitorial Companies:** Janitorial companies can embrace ergonomic and disposable cleaning tools to increase their efficiency and reduce the risk of injuries among their employees. - **Healthcare Facilities:** With emphasis on hygiene in healthcare facilities being paramount, innovative cleaning solutions can reduce the risk of infection and illness. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Portable Cleaning Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pulito.md) - [Professional Cordless Cleaning Appliances](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/safet-range.md) - [Shopping Cart Disinfecting Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sliball.md) - [Smart Robot Home Vacuums](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/scop.md) - [Grime-Removing Machine Cleaners](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/surface-coating.md) - [Ergonomic Kitchen Dishwashers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fotile-x20-max.md) - [Ergomatically Shaped Scissors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ergomatically-shaped-scissors-ergomatically-shaped-scissors-with-a-bat-desi.md) - [Efficient Electric Scrubbers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/electric-scrubber.md) - [Health-Conscious Mouse Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ergo-ergonomic-mouse-concept.md)
